Resources & References

Many of the resources listed in this course are my personal favorites. A few are not, because we are all at different places and have different needs, but all have been hand-picked because I believe them to be quality resources that are relevant to their respective topics. Where applicable, some links may be referral links, meaning I will receive credit and potentially a commission if you purchase through them, at no additional cost to you (a win-win!) Please only invest in resources that make sense for you. (And if you know of a great one I’ve missed, please shoot me an email and let me know about it!)

Resources (Product Sources)

  • Fatworks – sells lard, tallow, duck fat, etc.
  • EPIC – sells lard, tallow, duck fat, etc.
  • Thrive Market – sells a variety of natural food products, including both Fatworks and EPIC
  • Tropical Traditions – well-known for their coconut oil, although there are more obvious sources for coconut oil. (You may even find it at your supermarket, but you want virgin coconut oil. If it doesn’t smell like coconut, it’s processed.)

For Further Reading

  • The Cholesterol Myths, by Uffe Ravnskov, MD, PhD
  • Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill, by Udo Erasmus (This one gets rather technical, but if you’re up for that, it’s excellent.)
  • Deep Nutrition, by Catherine Shanahan, MD
